Hulked Out.

This is a movie review, that I just feel like getting out of the way. As most of you know, who are comic fans, or movie fans, there was a remake of The Hulk of 2003, called The Incredible Hulk. Ooh, like the Incredible makes a huge difference. There will be spoilers, watch out!

Review of "The Incredible Hulk".

Plot Summary.
The Hulk returns from the forest of the last movie from 2003, and he's hiding this time. Everyone thinks that he's dead, but guess what, he's the frigging Hulk, and he can't really die. I mean, in the comics all that was left was a heart, and he regenerated from that. He eventually was able to breathe in space, and water, and is practically invulnerable to anything because he's the damn Hulk, and he can rival superman at his strongest. So anyway, the army is out to get him, and they can't, because he's the Hulk. So they give this semi-rebel soldier something close to what turned Bruce into the Hulk in the first place. It went chaotic though, because it was done medically, whereas Bruce's transformation happened genetically, and through a massive amount of radiation, so he's more "controlled" if you understand my meaning. So the rebel, goes rebel, and they decide "screw it, go get him Hulk", and realized he wasn't bad at all. So they fight, and obviously the Hulk wins, because it's the Hulk.

The Good.
The CGI effects and graphics were re-worked many many times. They even re-did the whole scheme a month before it was shipped. They also changed the CGI on posters and advertisements everywhere, and enhanced it, so they put alot of work into it, and it turned out great. The actor's were okay, and I'm a real big fan of Edward Norton, and he's a very good actor, I don't think I've met one person in disagreement. That's about all the good I can come up with.

The Bad.
Okay the first thing, is the ridiculous semi-montages that are happening throughout the movie. The opening credits of the movie are pretty bad, because it's supposed to lead up from the last movie, but they even kind of screwed that up. The name of the movie should be changed too, cause you don't name a sequel to a movie by adding Incredible to the title, that's just not how it goes, you should name it something like "The Hulk: Regeneration" or something, I don't know. Also, the sudden change in actors, that's stupid. And the action! There was practically no action, and the action there was, it wasn't all that pleasing.

My overall thoughts.
Before I even saw the movie, I knew it wasn't going to be all that good, because it got pretty bad reviews from critics, except for a couple, who only said it was "generally favorable" if I remember right. I'm a big fan of comics, as some of you might know, and I even believe that, in times of stress the Hulk could beat Superman, but that's a completely different topic. I didn't quite understand why they were making a sequel, because it wasn't even by the same director, and I was really confused. I really liked the original first Hulk movie of 2003, and I liked the original TV series even more.

My Rating.
I'm gonna go ahead and give this movie a 6 out of 10. It was pretty poor, and I only gave it .1 lower than the general public did.
