So my mother has a new apartment in Harlem. It's great, because it's Free! You know why it's free, it's because she's disabled and has all of these problems. For those of you who have actually read through my previous blog posts, you may know that she is a juvenile diabetic, who is legally blind, and has a heart attack, and heart problems. Basic point she isn't in a very good condition.
From her appearance though, she looks very healthy and strong. When you look at her, you don't think she has any problems, and that is the problem itself. So she has to call the department of health to issue her a card that she can carry around with her that says that she is disabled.
So we went to look at the apartment, and it's actually really nice, for one person anyway. It's like a studio apartment. There's one huge room, and it's connected with the kitchen which is very small, but enough to cook food. There's 2 closets, one big, one small, and a bathroom. Very nice though, if I had a place to live, I'd live there. I would show pictures, but I don't have them with me.
So after we saw the apartment, we walked around the neighborhood, and it's actually a really nice place. If your wondering where, it's around 126th Street, and Lenox Avenue.
Then after, we came home, and my aunt, and my mother's best friend, and her daughter came, and we had a great time. The best friend, Sevgi, and the daughter Meric, stayed over and we had a lot of fun. We walked around the town, and just talked about random stuff.
So after, they left in the morning, and we went shopping for my best friend's (Mike) birthday. I won't say what I got him, cause he could be reading this, but it's really nice.
I'll try to review NFS: Carbon next post, maybe, maybe not, no guarantee's.
