Tomorrow will be the shortest day of the year, the winter solstice. I think the sun will go down around 4 to 4:30, which is so depressing, but at least we all know the days will get longer from then on until July 21st.
It snowed yesterday, and everybody called it a blizzard. People looked at me and called me an idiot for walking in a blizzard. I have this to say, this was not a blizzard, and I don't know why everybody thinks it is. A blizzard is when the snow is coming down so hard that you can't see anything. A blizzard means there's no cars out on the road, and the wind factor is way below chilling. I was outside walking around for hours really happy, helping people get their cars unstuck in the snow.
Today, I was going to go shoveling and try to make some side money, but I'm afraid I won't be able to. The cold air doesn't fair well with my lungs and it sucks, but it won't stop me from having fun!
