Well, as explained to my friend, I'll explain to everyone who reads this.

There is bad music, and good music, scientifically speaking. I'm not reaching into peoples opinions and destroying, all I'm saying is, factually, some music is bad for your mind, and some is good. I'm not going to bother linking to anything, because if you want to do the research, do it on your own.

Bad music includes rap, hip hop, emo, and metal.

Now before you get all pissy and say it's not true, there have been 1325 colleges that have participated in this. Some guy went to the schools and asked them to compile a list of people who volunteer the music that they listen to, and their SAT scores. Guess what, you might not be surprised but Lil'Wayne scored the lowest. Another non-suprising fact, Beethoven and Mozart scored among the highest.

If that's not enough for you, they took rats, put them in the same exact mazes, with no variables. They put metal music on one maze, and classical music on the other. 9 out of 10 times, the classical music maze beat the rat with the metal music.

Furthermore, surgeons seem to work better and are less stressed around a classical music environment. Yes, it even affects the way people react physically, to most things.

I won't indulge you with more facts than this last one. Plants were raised in greenhouses. They put music on 24 hours a day for a month, and concluded that rap, techno, and alternative music were detrimental to the plants because of disturbances in the sound waves. The complete opposite with classical music.

I'm not saying that you're listening to music that I'm called bad, I'm saying it's not good for you, and it's pretty much proven with all of this.
