Can't they sometimes be done right?

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, none of you really care that much anyway, but I'd just like to write something that just came to mind, that really does piss me off.

For you geeks, or nerds, and even regular people who use a computer, don't you ever hate it, absolutely hate it when your staring at the screen, for something to finish, and you see this:

"Less than one minute remaining"
" 0 >"
"0 seconds remaining"
"Finishing up"

It's so stupid, it's not necessary.

I mean, I've taken a couple computer courses myself, and all that's needed is some simple code, it's everywhere! Whether you are installing a program, operating system, logging into something, downloading, uploading, it's ridiculous! It just shouldn't be there, things in real life are timed appropriately, so why can't virtual things be as well?

I'll let it go that sometimes, they do get them right, like flash animations, such as newgrounds, or at least some installation files, but it's still ridiculous. It's not something that pisses me off to an extreme amount, but it's still annoying, and I'm a pretty patient person. I'm sure there are those who can't handle it sometimes, and don't even get me started on things freezing.

On a different chord, I'm still thinking up those reviews, and I just got a nice little game, called Civilization IV, and both expansions, Warlords, and Beyond The Sword, there really is no campaign mode or anything, but I'll be playing them online, and on LAN with my cousins probably.

As always, stay tuned.
