I finally got the photo's I had wanted, so I'll go through a little photographic story. It'll be fun, for me anyway. Memories are some of the greatest things you can have.

First I'll start off at what exactly this little reading adventure is. Me and my best friend Mike, decided to go out and venture into the city, and being that my mom lives near the city, we'd have somewhere to sleep and eat.

Now, my mom is the greatest cook in the world, that I know of anyway, as well as her Artistry. The stuff is simply amazing.

Go to UUArts to see some more of her stuff, it's life changing to see it in real life, and if you can help her spread her artwork in anyway, please let her know.

Here's some of her artwork if you doing feel like linking.

So we decided to stay at for house, and that's what we did for about 2 days. We didn't stay that long, but it was a very fun two days, and the amount of joy we had could barely be compared to anything really. We came at around like 8 PM to her house, and we just talked, and Mike looked around, and loved the place. The whole house is brimming with artwork to the very corners of the whole apartment. There's art literally everywhere in every room, and alot of people fall in love with that, and Mike really loved it. So we went to sleep, to awake to a beautiful aroma of food in the air. My mom had made crepes, and it was delicious. We talked about her artwork and how she doesn't prove it because commercialization is dishonorable and how her situation with how she lives is horrible. For those of you who are interested, she is indeed very ill. She's suffered from two heart attacks, and has Diabetes from when she was 7 years old. On top of that, she is completely blind in one eye and has very poor vision in the other. She's a pretty tough woman, who can stand all of that, but it can only go on for so much. Luckily Mike's mother is a trained professional in diabetes, so maybe she can help, I hope for the best. So after the breakfast we decided to head out and venture into the city. My other told us to go to Chelsea Pier to go see The Frying Pan, which is a boat off of the Titanic which sank, but we skipped that and just walked around. We got really hungry and went to this place called Nooch, which is a fantastic place! Really nice. Go there if you can some day. Then while walking we found a guitar store which was pretty unique. I forgot the name of it, but it was really unique in a unique way. From the outside it looks like a Guitar Center or Sam Ash, which are pretty popular instrumental stores. However, when you go inside, it's very small, and everything is all in your face, you hardly do any walking. What was amazing was the stuff that was in the store. Huge amps, small amps, new guitars, old guitars, old old old old guitars, and really interesting guitars. I recognized an original Les Paul and Fender Stratocaster from like the 30s or 40s, amazing. Mike took some pictures, which turned out great. So after that, we kept walking along, and passed a bondage store. I really wanted to go in because I was so curious as to what type of things are in those kind of stores. I walked in and Mike came in along with me, and we had no regrets or doubts going in and were happy. So we go in and we see this guy with tattoos all over his body, and he comes right up to us and asks us if we were 21. Well, we got kicked out, and I got all sad, and vowed that I would go back in once I turned 21. I don't understand why we have to be 21 to go into the store, we weren't even going to buy anything anyway. So we continue walking and we get to this exhibition in The New School, which was pretty cool. There were all sorts of gadgets from many miscellaneous companies created, and selected by the school to show to the public and review them. I got some really good macro shots in. Enter pictures.

Great macro shots eh? So after the exhibition we were really tired, so we went outside and sat on a bench. We talked about life, and girls, and having fun, and what we should do for the future. So Mike came up with an idea for a social experiment. He wanted to talk to random people, any people, who would talk about what excites them, why they go out, why they do things, what motivates them, and I put that into practice, but not until later, I'll do that next post.

So I made a new video on youtube against some idiot who says he's switching back from OS X to XP. He stated some things about the operating system that are not true, so I just proved it wrong.

It's not that good video editing, but it was my first time.

So yeah, there it is, it's about 10 minutes long.

So I went to my mom's because I promised her I would be with her for a couple days because of her heart. She has to get it checked because she's had two heart attacks and they just need to check if everything is okay, because 20% of her heart is gone.

So I go and everything is great, and we were barely in the house at all. We went to the Turkish Festival in the city in central park and it was great. Good food, good music, and best of all I speak the language fluently, so I was very happy. I talked with girls, with guys, with kids and other people.

I met some interesting people, took some good photographs. You know, it sucks not having a camera for yourself, because if I did I would really take photographs and post them up by myself instead of having to skulk to a low level and ask other people for their camera's it's a bad feeling not having something for yourself, like a car.

Anyway, later, my mother's best friend from childhood came with her daughter, and we had a lot of fun. Before that, my dad was there, along with my aunt, cousin, and my grandmother, but they left about an hour after I came because they were there since 10 AM, whereas I had just come in at 2 PM.

So it was all great and fun.

Till my next adventure,
Bijan.

Customiiiize.

I just made my schedule, and its stupidly horrible. My major is psychology, and I want to minor in music. So here it is:

Tuesday
Intro Statistics 2:30 PM - 3: 45 PM
Principals of Macro Economics 4:00 PM - 5:15 PM
General Psychology 5:30 PM - 6:50 PM

Thursday
Composition 1 3:30 PM - 4:45 PM
Rock Music: Mirror 5:00 PM - 6:15 PM

Why the skip a day, I don't know, but that's the WHOLE schedule. It's full-time, but it doesn't seem like it. I guess I'll have to keep looking for a job, it's out there somewhere. I applied to Microcenter, so hopefully I'll get a position there.

Now I just need to get a laptop and I'm set. I don't know if anybody else knows these things, but does anyone know if I can get any discounts for any Apple products, like the MacBook, cause that would be great. I don't want to deal with a stupid laptop preloaded with Vista bullcrap.

Thanks in advance, out.

So I got approved finally for financial aid by FAFSA, literally at the last minute. It was such a hassle, I hope noone else has to deal with it, although they do.

This whole setup is horrible, and should seriously be fixed by Financial Aid services, because it's such a cluster and people have to wait hours for anything to get done, if not days. Let me share what it's like for everyone, just so they know what to do.

First off, your going to want to get ever single documentation you can possible. Everything you can think of, because if you forget it, they won't. Here's a list I can get off the top of my head:

1. Taxes/W-2 Files
2. Divorce Papers
3. FAFSA records
4. School Code
5. School ID number/Card
6. Immunization Papers
7. Health Insurance
8. Family Papers [Who pays for what, income and such]
9. Tuition Bill
10. Classes Scheduled
11. Placement Test Results/SAT's/ACT's

They asked for all of these for me, and I did not have them all at one time, so I waited hours, and traveled way too much.

Depending on your college, in this case a community college, they were a little more helpful, because more students have these types of issues with money.

Now, the most important thing you can do, is file your FAFSA as early as possible. Even a week late can be very bad, because it takes a long time to process, because they have to investigate your issue, and your taxes and who brings income into the household your living in, it's a hassle for them, and they make sure it's a hassle for you, if you don't do all of this early enough.

After you file your FAFSA you wait for your PIN, which you will receive via mail, input that and get everything cleared and verify it as soon as possible.

After you get the pin, call up your school, and talk to them about Financial Aid, or loans quickly, because there is a certain amount of money put into the federal bank for people with low income, and you want to be quick to nab it. The faster you apply, the more you will get, and the bigger the chance you will have of getting at all in the first place.

When you call them, you'll either have to do it online, or go in by person. If you can, do it all online, because going in person results to waiting hours and hours.

If you go in, make sure you have everything you can, as I listed earlier, because they will ask for it, and if you don't have it, you'll have to go back home, or wherever, to get what you need, and then come back later, and wait hours yet again.

I hope alot of people read this, because there are alot of issues with these types of things, and if people knew what to do, it would be much easier.

If you don't know what to do, call your college, and talk to a counselor immediately.

This was my experience, and I share it all with you, so you are better prepared.

I got approved for 2500 bucks ;).

Weeds

is a fantaaaastic TV show. I'm up to season 3 episode 8, and it's so funny and comical. Everything about it is hysterical because the main character lands in so many funny positions throughout the series. If anyone wants something funny to watch I recommend this show.

In other news, there is none, because I'm bored out of my mind.

If anyone has any ideas of anything for me to do, tell me. I really want to make some videos.

Punch me in the face.

So I just saw Step Brothers, and Tropic Thunder.

I guess I'll add them to the review board. I gotta stop stacking up these movies like this.

I'd just like to say something about this little spectacle of the human earth named Fast Food, namely White Castle.

I went there yesterday after Tropic Thunder, and I just couldn't fucking stand it. You go in there, and you can literally taste and smell all the grease in the air. Everyone that goes there is fat and not in shape, or a wigger. I can't stand wiggers. And the food tastes horrible! I only went there because of Harold and Kumar, but damn, it's bad. You should go once to experience it.

I also got a new application called Screen Flow, it's great. I can record my screen now, so maybe I might start doing some video reviews. Watch it in high quality because it's really blurry.

Fun times at Bijan High.

The past couple of days have been great. I'll be sure to post some pictures up when I get a chance, because the things that we did, could only be explained better through the pictures me and my friend Mike took. We met great people and had fun.

In fact, Mike and I came up with this social experiment that's going to be very tricky to do. We're going to go to a place where people are, and try to encounter them, talk with them, see what makes them go out, have fun, talk, and just basically, meet new people for the experience. I think it's a great idea, but there are those who will just nudge us off, or say stupid things, but then there will be the good ones.

In other news, today I'm taking my placement exam for college to see what courses I can take, or am eligible for. My friend Peter said it's 40 questions about random stuff that you learned in high school. I hope I do well, because I found out I can fail it, and I really don't want that. If I do fail, which I believe I won't, there are exams going on the whole week.

After, the test, if I did well, I'm going to go watch the road test video, so I can actually take the road test and pass with flying colors.

Wish me luck.

Rain's here, so am I.

Man, I love the rain, it's so natural and can bring you up.

You should try walking in the rain with a friend sometime, it's great for the soul, and you guys can talk about anything and have fun. For a bonus walk without any type of rain protection, or even go topless, unless you know, you feel awkward about it.

I'm about to walk in the rain right now, with a good friend Mike.

So in other new, I went to a party, and made some new friends, and found some friends I haven't spoken to for 2 years! It was great catching up, and we shared some stories, and introduced ourselves to more friends. This is a great opportunity to have some fun, and do some crazy shit.

Still looking for a job though, I applied to more places, and yet noone calls back..

Help me!

I am the night.

Here's my review that probably noone has been waiting for, for The Dark Knight. Great movie. There will be spoilers. Actually, if you just even hesitate to read this because there are spoilers, go watch the movie, its great, you'll love it no matter who you are.

Review of "The Dark Knight".

Plot Summary.

The plot here, takes shortly after Batman Begins, and starts where a new bad guy, enter Joker, comes to cause chaos and destruction just for, shits and giggles. Katie Holmes is not in this movie, and replaced by the Gyllenhall sister, whom by the way, I adore, much more than Holmes. Now, the Joker, comes into place only because of the Batman, because the way Batman is, the Joker feeds off of Batman's hatred for him and whatnot. Past that, in the sub-story, Harvey Dent turns into Two-Face, after the Joker plays around with his mind, and causes him to go Psychotic.

The Good.

There's alot of good, especially the acting, for the guy who stole the show, you know, the guy, with the make up, and the laugh, you know, him. He was good, no, he was great. Then there's my other favored actor, Aaron Eckhart, whom I put up in my favorite actors of all time. Heath Ledger though, he was fucking brilliant. Apparently the director locked him up in a New York City apartment for a whole month, and he was isolated there, before they started filming. While he was locked up, he continuously practiced his voicing and the way he moved, and thats how the Joker was born. Because of this, the acting he portrayed was phenomenal and is one of the greatest acting performances I really have ever seen in my lifetime. Now before Heath steels my review, there were definitely other goods. The acting was great, and the subliminal comedy was great too. The scripting was amazing too, everything came together so well, and all the scenes didn't feel like they were just plastered on a piece of paper. Yeah there really actually wasn't that much good besides that, but then again all you need is a good script, good plot, good acting, and there you go.

The Bad.

Hmm, this is tough, but not so much for me. The vehicles in the movie were just, completely overpowered. Okay not that overpowered, but effing overpowered. The huge...tank...thing, was like a beast, but I guess thats the point of it. It is nothing like the original batman vehicles, from any of the shows, comics, or movies. That didn't really make a huge impact, because the sheer awesomeness of the vehicles was awesome. The next part was the actual mental state of the Joker. I mean, don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved the Joker, but he was nothing, absolutely nothing, like any other Joker. The thing about the movie that pisses me off, is now everyone I know is going around, saying "Why So Serious?", all the damn time, and it's annoying...as hell. Let's see, anything else that was bad? Oh yeah, the fact that the Joker also stole the movie practically, I know he's dead and all, but still, he stole, he did a fantastic job, like Bill Murray did in Ghostbusters, and will probably will an Oscar award, or something.

My Overall Thoughts.

Well, I saw this movie twice, it was great both times. I did not however see it in IMAX, which I'm dying to see it in that way. It was a great experience for me, as I was one of the first people to see it, because I saw it at 12:01 AM, on release day. It was a good thing that I did too, because the movie theaters were packed like crazy even days after. I would definitely buy the DVD of this movie and show it to people who have not seen it. But I'm afraid it's going to become one of those movie's that everyone has seen. Also everyone of my friends, okay not all, but alot, said it was the greatest movie. A perfect 10, I don't know why they would say that. Also I do not believe that it should be rated as the number one movie of all time on IMDB, that's just disgraceful.

My Rating.
I rate this wonderful movie a 9 out of 10. Heath was great, Aaron was great, and overall, the Joker was the movie.

I stopped after the second episode of Cowboy Bebop, and it just didn't really catch my interest. I don't know why though. It was voted as one of the best anime's of all time, and it seems weird.

Well anyway, I was over at my friend's house, and he recommended this TV show called "Weeds", so I'll get on that, right after I finish Yu Yu Hakusho. That's right another anime. I finished John Doe and it was great.

So all-together, I have to finish Yu Yu Hakusho, a couple movies, Weeds, and maybe Cowboy Bebop, some games, and a couple more games, namely, Need For Speed: Most Wanted, Warcraft 3, Uplink, Civilization 4, Crysis, and Battle Realms, as well as Black and White 2. Man that's alot of stuff.

I've done playing almost all of them really, it's just a matter of reviewing them all.

Laters.

Oh, and I've added a link to my very good friend's site.

Wrath, is a great musician, and is really good at playing the guitar. He has kind of helped me out with a few hints and tricks here and there, and he's a fun guy altogether. I put up a link on the bottom right side, be sure to give it a visit if you don't feel like wasting any more of your brain cells here.

Cowboys are cool.

I'm watching Cowboy Bebop right now, into the second episode, while I'm multi-tasking like hell. Right now I'm watching the anime, talking to friends on Digsby, which by the way, is a great messenger application, and opening my acceptance into college letters! Whoo!

I still need financial aid though, and I did get accepted and have a log in name and everything, but I don't know how much money I need yet, because I still have to take the placement exams, and then see what type of courses I can take and how much they are.

The thing about the financial aid is that, it's on a first come first serve basis, so...I'm pretty damn late. I hope I get it though.

I also watched a couple of movies called The Last Supper, London, Gattaca, and The Forgotten. It's alot of movies to review.

It seems like I'm a really slow reviewer, and it's true, I am. I try to occupy myself with movies and games, because I get very bored very easily.

I need money.

And because I didn't do too well in high school, I'm not getting that much money, if not any from our precious hierarchy, known as the government.

If anyone has any tips or anything knowledgeable on how to get any sort of money to fund my college, legally, please say so.
