There is this thing called the Golden Festival which I will definitely be going to, but it's in the city, and it costs some amount of money for each person. I've been going there every year since I was a little kid, and it's a lot of fun.

I doubt many of my friends will be allowed to go in though. It's in the upper west side of the city, and it goes on till about 3 AM. It's basically a festival type of thing, and I'm pretty sure I wrote about this last year as well.

If anyone has any ideas of what I can do, besides that, for my birthday, then I'd be happy to take some advice.

Blog you later.

Archery Ranges and Warhammer.

Those two things in the same sentence is pretty hard to understand, they're the complete opposite of each other. I went to an archery range yesterday and shot some arrows with a bow for around 2 hours. It was a lot of fun, and I think I did pretty well for my first time. After that we went back to my house to eat, and then we went to my friend Matt's house and played Warhammer.

Warhammer is a really complicated game, and it's one of those stereotypical nerdy games, but it's a lot of fun, at least I think so. Think Dungeons and Dragons, but not as complicated. You basically have pieces, and you can paint those pieces. You set up your own army, you cast spells and move and attack, and it's a per turn basis game. I think it's a lot of fun, although it's very time consuming.

Anyway, on Tuesday I'm going to go to Mark's Comics to see Matt play a real Warhammer game, and it should be interesting. There's no way I can afford those pieces or mats or paint or anything, but I'd like to get into it.

I'd also like to get into archery, although the bows are ridiculously expensive. The cheapest one I could find is around 65 dollars, and you still have to buy the arrows separate, the arrow holder, and finger protector, and the arm protector. At the place we went, there bows that were being sold for hundreds of dollars, some even almost a thousand.

Anyway, if you want to come with me next time I go, just tell me, it costs 20 dollars.

Blog you later.

New Years Resolution

It's the first day of not only the year, but the decade. Last decade started off crappy and it certainly ended crappy, if everyone tries to make a bigger impact on the world, I'm sure it will be better. I hope when I turn 30 in 10 years, the world will be a better place. I can already see more crappy movies and music arriving though.

As the New Years passes, New Year resolutions come. I like to write a list of everything I want done this year, and then seal it and put it somewhere you won't find until the next year comes and you open it and see what has changed since you wrote that list.

I had a pretty good New Years with only a few people, but it was fun nonetheless. I hope you all had a good one. It's national hangover day, so stay safe.

New Years!

Hey peoples, this is me wishing you a happy new year. There's some crazy parties going on, and some crazy people doing some crazy things. I opted not to go to this crazy party that I was invited to, and I'm going to play it safe.

If you're going to the city, or into any crowded area, be careful, it's the single most dangerous night of the year to be in the city. I've heard some crazy stories in the past, and I'm sure more crazy things will happen as well.

Happy New Year!

Approaching.

The end of the year is pretty close, and to some, the end of the world is even closer. I don't know why there are people who believe in the end of the world at 2012, but I find it to be pretty funny.

Anyway, for new years I have the option of going to a crazy party, which I don't want to go to alone. It's in brooklyn, and it's one of those wild artistic parties that crazy things are probably going to happen in. I don't really have much else to do, and I certainly don't want to be bored on New Years.

The day after New Years, I'm going to be seeing The Rocky Horror Picture Show with my friend Jenna in the city at 12 AM, and hopefully it'll be good. One of my friends said he saw it, and that it was pretty fun, so I'm a bit excited.

In other news, I have to get some people to watch Trigun, an anime, and one of my favorites, if not my favorite.

Blog you later.

Christmas Eve!

Well tomorrow is a big day for many, but not for me I guess. I'd like to celebrate it, but not religiously. Anyway, today at night, I'm supposedly going to a christmas party, and I don't really know if I want to go, because I want to see Allaire, but eh.

On saturday, I'm going to my mother and I won't be back till around monday probably, because she'll probably want me there for a bit of time. I don't know when I'll be completely free, because then after that is New Years, and I'll probably be doing something with that with some of my friends maybe, so I have no idea.

Basically, a lot of plans that I don't even know I'll follow.

Happy Chrismahannaqwuanza.

Getting Closer.

Tomorrow will be the shortest day of the year, the winter solstice. I think the sun will go down around 4 to 4:30, which is so depressing, but at least we all know the days will get longer from then on until July 21st.

It snowed yesterday, and everybody called it a blizzard. People looked at me and called me an idiot for walking in a blizzard. I have this to say, this was not a blizzard, and I don't know why everybody thinks it is. A blizzard is when the snow is coming down so hard that you can't see anything. A blizzard means there's no cars out on the road, and the wind factor is way below chilling. I was outside walking around for hours really happy, helping people get their cars unstuck in the snow.

Today, I was going to go shoveling and try to make some side money, but I'm afraid I won't be able to. The cold air doesn't fair well with my lungs and it sucks, but it won't stop me from having fun!

Blog you later!

Bad music.

You know, scientifically speaking, there is such a thing as bad and good music. I've talked with a lot of people about this topic, and it's always the case where I'm completely alone on it. Even though I give evidence of there being such a thing, it's still put on me that I'm always wrong.

Well, as explained to my friend, I'll explain to everyone who reads this.

There is bad music, and good music, scientifically speaking. I'm not reaching into peoples opinions and destroying, all I'm saying is, factually, some music is bad for your mind, and some is good. I'm not going to bother linking to anything, because if you want to do the research, do it on your own.

Bad music includes rap, hip hop, emo, and metal.

Now before you get all pissy and say it's not true, there have been 1325 colleges that have participated in this. Some guy went to the schools and asked them to compile a list of people who volunteer the music that they listen to, and their SAT scores. Guess what, you might not be surprised but Lil'Wayne scored the lowest. Another non-suprising fact, Beethoven and Mozart scored among the highest.

If that's not enough for you, they took rats, put them in the same exact mazes, with no variables. They put metal music on one maze, and classical music on the other. 9 out of 10 times, the classical music maze beat the rat with the metal music.

Furthermore, surgeons seem to work better and are less stressed around a classical music environment. Yes, it even affects the way people react physically, to most things.

I won't indulge you with more facts than this last one. Plants were raised in greenhouses. They put music on 24 hours a day for a month, and concluded that rap, techno, and alternative music were detrimental to the plants because of disturbances in the sound waves. The complete opposite with classical music.

I'm not saying that you're listening to music that I'm called bad, I'm saying it's not good for you, and it's pretty much proven with all of this.

That's all I really have to say, feel free to send hate mail.

Almost over.

I just finished having kahvalti, a turkish breakfast, and a very good one. Out of the many traditional turkish things, kahvalti has got to be one of my favorites. It's basically everything is set in front of you, and you eat with your entire family and it's great. If I ever have a family, I hope we do it every morning. You can pick anything from bread, cheese, olives, jelly, and some other stuff, it's very simple.

Anyway, today I'm presenting my really bad project in my science class. I made a pan flute out of PVC pipe, and that's pretty much it. I have to explain how it makes sound and resonates and all that good stuff.

That's about it.

Blog you later.

Ice Skating? Ungrounded Party?

Tomorrow is my friend Alicia's ungrounding party, as funny as that sounds. She's been grounded for a while, just because she decided to date another guy. She's 15, and the guy's a really nice guy, and I don't understand bad parenting. Yet again, it makes me want to question the ways of so many parents, oh well.

Well yeah, tomorrow she'll be free, and then hopefully I'll end up going ice skating later on in the day, for a mere 10 dollars. I haven't gone ice skating for a long time, but Mike came up with the idea, so I do want to go. I'm good at roller blading, and it seems to me like it's the same exact thing almost.

Let's see, what other things are in the news. Ah yes, I unearthed my love for french rap. Yes, french rap, I know it's pretty random. Around a year ago, maybe a little less than that, I started to try to get into rap, but good rap, and I couldn't. However, I discovered french rap, and I fell in love with it. Almost all of it sounds so amazing and smooth, it's so beautiful. The language just has such a suave seamless smooth sound to it, it's great. I love it all.

That's really about it.

Blog you later.

Not Paying Attention.

I was in math class, and I found out that I had missed the midterm, so in return, I dropped the class. While I was in that particular class though, I felt really depressed and wrote something down on a piece of paper, and I crumbled it up after words and ripped it. I put it back together now, and maybe this will strike some peoples hearts. Maybe not.

Untitled.

Sometimes when trying to get rid of all of the anxiety that one person has, they turn to different methods which to me seems very unmethodical. It's almost barbaric to me. The things that some people, while they are sad, in order to become happy sometimes surprise me, although it's rare. One thing that comes to mind is selflessness or self infliction. Selflessness to me can be a great thing, I'm a pretty selfless guy, and I seek to help others, almost all the time, but there are those times where I know I can go too far. Speaking of these type of things, it may seem unwise for someone to be selfless as far as to hurting themselves, but it's actually a great feeling. I love having those moments where you're being chivalrous and helping out other people, and when you feel good about it. It's like you're contributing to other peoples needs for no reasons. I think that everyone should be like that all the time, but obviously will not. It's just not in human nature, for most people, to be kind and sincere to everyone. You can't be amazing to every person you encounter anyway, but I still think it's better to try than to completely repeal your acts of selflessness. Although I know this won't happen maybe ninety percent of the time, I can at least try to get people to, pay it forward, in a sense. Paying it forward is a completely selfless act in which you help out any one random person, you deem worthy of helping. In response to helping them, that person helps another and that person another, and the cycle keeps going. I think this is a great concept, and I got it from the movie Pay It Forward. When I first saw this movie, I really fell in love with the idea of it, even at a very young age. I wanted to just help everyone for no reason and I think that's where it came from really. I can't say much else except for, I wish that more people were like that. I think someday everybody will slowly realize all of this.

If you read through all of that, kudos to you.

Blog you later.

Jury Duty, Procrastination, and Writers Block.

First up, I have to reply back to this jury duty, which I wrote about last time, but you know, looking into it, the whole system is so fucked up. I usually hold back on these type of things, but in seriousness, it's so easy to get out of things that you did, or get into things you didn't do, just thought I'd like to share. Another thing, something you did can screw up your future for the rest of your life, even if you change, it's a permanent brand, and that's annoying to have to see other people deal with it.

Second, I gotta stop procrastinating so much, I really do, I'm beating my own mind in telling myself that, hopefully it works.

Third, I haven't been able to write anything decent for the past couple of weeks and it's bothering me, I don't know why, but it's putting me really down. I've always been creative with almost everything, but it seems it's beginning to vanish a little, or somewhat.

Fourth, there's really awesome food waiting for me in the kitchen.

Blog you later.

School Calls.

Thanksgiving break is over, although it wasn't really a break, I had a decent time. Met some new people, had some fun, went places, bought things.

I also beat Assassins Creed 2, which was pretty fun.

I'll probably be writing a review on that later on.

Let's see what else is going on. Well, I'm making a pan flute, for those of you who don't know, google it, they're pretty cool instruments. I went to home depot and bought the pvc pipe, and I just have to cut it, and then solder it together, pretty simple job. And I'll have another working instrument!

Oh yeah! Very interesting job I got, I've been called to jury duty. I have no idea what the case is, but I gotta take it, as it's a requirement of being a citizen. I've always wanted to be on the jury of a big case, although this'll probably be something ridiculous, like theft or something.

Anyway, blog you later.

Batman: Arkham Asylum Review!

Batman, he's awesome, he's a superhero, and he has no powers. He's just a regular dude, who puts down evil dudes. He's part of the DC Universe, so he won't be affected by Disney at all, thank god. This is a game that pretty much follows all of the comics, almost spot on. This is in no way related to Batman Begins, or The Dark Knight, not even the same Joker, are the same. For those of you who know, this is Mark Hamill's Joker, which in my opinion is the greatest. There will definitely be spoilers in this, but read my experience if you don't want to be spoiled.

Review for "Batman: Arkham Asylum."

What It Is.

For those of you who have played any Metal Gear Solid games, may fit very well into this game. It's a stealthy game, and if you go Rambo, you will die. There is no weaponry, other than batarangs, explosive gel, and the batclaw. So, it's a stealthy action platforming puzzle game. It's not a game for pure destruction, and there is a lot to do within the game, even after you've beaten it. If you want to get something that makes you think, with rewards, this is the game for you. It's main storyline will drive you maybe 15 to 30 hours, depending on how much you get distracted. If you go straight for the storyline, you can beat it in maybe 10 hours.

How It Works.

This game pretty much uses your mind. As the storyline progresses, you start using all different types of batman's equipment in order to progress. There's also a lot of enemies that have weaponry, that you can't do anything against directly, and you have to approach them stealthily. There's only a couple boss fights, and sadly they aren't that hard. I found that some of the challenges, such as fighting 20 people at once, while you're getting shocked by the floor, to be harder than fighting Bane, or Poison Ivy. You have health, and you can upgrade it, but your health never recovers on its own. You have to either progress in the story, or get batpoints by completing certain things, such as beating up thugs, scanning tombs, or even solving riddles.

My Experience.

I got this game, because of my friend Mike, who told me that he played the demo, and that it was really good. I downloaded the demo, and I loved it, so naturally, I got the game. The game is fantastic, and it bears a lot of neat things that only true Batman fans can appreciate, but it is fun, for even those who know nothing about Batman or the world of Gotham. I loved playing through the game, and hearing the interview tapes, or reading up facts on the Joker, solving riddles and finding question marks. I played the game a couple hours everyday until I beat it, and it was very rewarding. The cutscenes are great, the gameplay is great, and it's a challenge.

The Bad.

When I first started playing, and I got a couple hours through, I thought I had gotten very far into the storyline. Then when I log back into the game, it says I had completed 3% of the entire game. I got so happy about that, because I thought there was a ridiculous amount of stuff to do. When I beat the game, I was at around 40%, and I got very confused. It turns out that the game measures every single thing you've done in the game, including Riddlers things. The Boss fights are also very easy. It's not hard at all to find a pattern to subduing your enemies, and bosses take you a couple tries at most, and it only takes a couple minutes, maybe even less. The thugs in this game are a lot harder than the bosses, and that is very displeasing. When you fight Poison Ivy, I thought it would be the hardest boss ever, because she's inside a plant that's 50 feet tall, and your just you. Nope, took me 2 tries, and I beat her in maybe 2 minutes. It was boring. There's a lot of characters that you see about and read about, but they aren't in the actual game, like scarface, two-face, clayface, and going on. The entire game almost requires you to play in detective mode the entire time, and that really drags the game, graphically. Probably doesn't give everyone to appreciate the amazing detail and graphics put into the game.

The Good.

The fighting! My god, the combat system is really amazing. Once you're good, you can find yourself chaining up to 10 hits and throwing and grabbing enemies like crazy non-stop. Once you get really really good, you can chain up to 20 hits, and just go crazy smashing buttons and having a blast. I also love the stealthy stuff in the game. You have to plop yourself on top of Gargoyles and takedown everyone in the room. If they hit you with your guns, your health is screwed, and I love that, because a gun acts as it should. It shouldn't be that you can take 50 bullets in the chest and just get up and run away. When you're spotted, you have to run away before you get shot. Another real subtle effect in the game is that, as the game progresses, you can notice batmans suit getting fudged up, and I really like that. I think the greatest part of the game are the characters. This follows all of the stuff from the early 40s to the early 90s, none of the new stuff, except for the actual Arkham comics which came out a couple years ago I believe. The riddles will keep you playing the game for hours, and there are 240, yes 240 riddles to solve. It's nearly impossible to find some of them, and a lot of them are directly tied with characters. The graphics are also beautiful, and the entire game is amazing, but yet again, that's dragged out by detective mode somewhat.

My Future Expectations.

I really don't think that there will be a direct sequel to this game, simply because there can't be. There can be a couple spin-offs but I doubt it. A lot of characters did escape from the asylum, so maybe something can be done with that. If there were to be another batman game, I'd expect it to have more bosses, and better ones at that. I can't ask anything more of this game, because other than that, it gives a lot.

My Rating.

This beautiful game deserves a high score of 9 out of 10 for it's well thought out story, beautiful design, amazing repertoire of riddles, and great gameplay.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone has a good thanksgiving! I don't really have much to say, nothing much has been happening, but I have been focusing on getting another review out of this game called Batman: Arkham Asylum, which is pretty amazing.

Anyway, make sure to eat all the turkey at night, cause it puts you to sleep fast, because of all the good chemically stuff going on in your body.

Remember to give thanks, to everyone, especially the ones that deserve appreciation.

Blog you later.

Good Days and Boredom.

Yesterday was a good day, I really liked it. It was nice and relaxing. I hung out with my friends Armando, Henry, Peter, and Max. I haven't seen Peter and Max for a long time, and it was really nice. We pretty much just relaxed in my house and played games, and then we went out to the park for a walk.

Then after Armando and Henry left, Peter, Max and I met up with a really old friend, Chris.

We just hung out for like an hour and just talked about random things. The whole day was really good, and I hope more come like them.

Today is starting off really slow and boring. I woke up at 7, only to have nothing to do, so I went and played Arkham Asylum, for the 360, which is a really good game.

As I wait for my grandmother to finish making awesome cookies, my father told me we might go out as a family to somewhere random with some family friends.

I also can't wait for thanksgiving, I don't have evening classes on Wednesday, so it'll be a good 5 day weekend.

This is for you Nick if you're reading. Blog you later!

Walkin in the Rain.

So, Allaire and I, have discovered, very oddly, that we have never, ever, walked in the rain together, purposefully. How sad is that?

We both love the rain, and love walking, yet have never done both at the same time on purpose. It's been so long that we've known each other, it's just a mystery. Tomorrow it's set to rain, and hopefully we'll do so, but her parents are being doodoo heads, and for some reason they won't let her out on saturdays for the whole day, but only a portion of the day.

Anyway, I'm having some friends over on saturday from college, and I'm hoping we'll have fun, like play xbox 360, or play handball or something. A relaxing day.

Now, I have to write me an essay!

Allaire!

Today Allaire is free, I haven't seen her for a while. She's been grounded, but today she's allowed to go out. It's very odd though, her mother said she can go out today, but she's not allowed out on Sundays ever again till she says so. She also has a choice between whether to go out on Fridays or Saturdays.

I don't know where this bad parenting comes from. It's horrible. I decided to write a book called Bad Parenting 101. It will be very short, and it will be comical, but it will share the memories of either mine or my friends and how they sometimes ridiculously get grounded for ridiculous reasons.

Anyway, Allaire is hopefully going to come over, and we gotta go out, and walk or something. I still have this pumpkin that I want to carve, it will probably be bad in a week if we don't finish it today.

Mike was also in Connecticut, and he's coming back home today, and hopefully we'll meet up with him and do random things. I figure we could go play pool or something, maybe bowling, whatever, just an activity, we all need it.

I can see, today will be a good day. I won't let anything ruin it. Blog you later.

Weird Dream.

I had a very interesting dream the other day involving Allaire and I. It was a really weird dream involving this made up thing in my mind called Plasmire, where it's just an entity in the world. It goes into you, and you have all these really weird powers, like you can alter reality and warp it to whatever you want. You think it, it happens. Anyway, it was weird, and I typed it up as soon as I woke up, because I didn't want to forget about it. It scared me a little, but I love the idea of Plasmire itself, and how powerful and odd it can be.

Also, I've been burning xbox 360 games, and it's been a real good old time. For some reason though Grand Theft Auto IV, won't work, and I don't really know why. I want to either burn another copy, or get my hands on a real one, and see if those work.

If anyone has any recommendations for anything, just comment or whatever.

In other news, I don't have school tomorrow, and I have no idea what I'm doing. Also in other news, I'm learning to expect people not to follow up to their word. It's becoming quite easy.

Museum Today

I'm going to be going to the museum today. If not today, then probably tomorrow, either way I have to go.

I have to go because of a psychology project. We go and we have to look at all of the modernist and surrealistic art, and then write a paper about all of it. It's due next week, I'm pretty sure, so I won't really have a chance to do it any other time anyway.

In other news, I beat the game Crackdown, which was somewhat fun, while it lasted. It doesn't have much re playability to it, because once you finish the game, there's nothing else to do. It's just done. I probably won't review it.

I also have to go to an academic advisor to see what classes I should pick up, because I have no idea what classes to go into.

Anyway, it's time for some Brutal Legend. Blog you later.

It's Been A While

Sorry to those who read with excitement. I've been pretty busy lately. School has really caught up with me, and on top of that I have some side things that I've been doing on my own. I successfully flashed the xbox 360, and I've been having fun with that, I really needed that, and I've been having anxiety about not seeing Allaire that much.

Oh well, things go by. I haven't been typing that much on my typewriter too, and that kind of saddens me, I really want to pursue typing almost everyday on it. The other day in math class, I wrote something very long, and I haven't written like that for a while.

In other news, there isn't really much. I have to go to the city on either saturday or sunday to do a project for my psychology class, and anyone who wants to come, just send me a comment or something.

Anyway, I'll blog you later.

Halloween soon!

I really wanted to go as a ninja, but I don't see that happening, unless I can muster something up really soon. If I did, I'd have to fork out a couple bucks, which I really don't want to.

I'll probably just look in my closets and try to find something that fits or not, I don't know. I'm kind of sad, because Allaire is grounded, for very stupid reasons, and I obviously don't want her to be. She doesn't deserve it, never does, but oh well. It's her favorite holiday too, which just saddens me even more.

Hopefully, she'll be able to do something, hopefully.

Let's see, what else is there in the news. I'm trying to hack my xbox 360, so that it can play games if I just burn them onto discs, so hopefully that will happen. One of my friends at college said that he can do it, but he charges 80 dollars for it. I asked him who actually pays for that, and he said that people do pay that much.

And I'm going to be selling some cards, so hopefully it'll be a good couple next months.

Broken Free Stuff!

I now have a non-working xbox 360, and I don't really know what to do with it. It has the ring of death, that I actually know about, because of the nerd I am.

The hard drive failed, and I have no use for it, there is a quick fix for it, but, I don't even have a controller. It costs money to get a controller, and that's all I really think I need.

Anyway, I'm hopefully going to make some side money pretty soon, I'm working on a little something right now.

Today, is the day of the making of pumpkin brownies, and I hope it goes along well. I tried doing it on Friday, but we didn't do it because my grandmother wasn't feeling well, and she didn't want all the mess or whatever it is, even though I said I would fix everything.

We'll see what happens today, sorry I haven't been blogging that much recently, I'm a very busy bee, although I doubt a lot of you who read this, or don't read this, care very much.

On that depressing note, I flee!

Presentation

I couldn't do the presentation on Monday, because the person who was supposed to bring in his amplifier, couldn't bring it in, because it was broken. Now I have to bring my amp, and it's a pain, because it's decent sized. I'm going to have to be carrying that thing around the whole day.

Oh well, at least I'll be able to get rid of it.

I hope you all read my review of Where The Wild Things Are, even if you loved it or hated it. I wrote both good and bad things, or whatever I could think of at the time.

Let's see, what else. Right, I want to make pumpkin brownies, and anyone who wants to help make them with me, is duly invited so.

Where The Wild Things Are Not

Where The Wild Things Are, is an adaptation from the picture book of the same name. Not getting into the details of the book, the movie is about Max, a young boy, who has troubles in his house, and escapes to an island. That's barely covering what happens. I won't say much else, but it is a different type of movie. I won't say anything negative or positive in this section, that's for later. The story is very very short, only a couple pages long. Within the entire story, there were only 8 sentences, or it might have been 9, I don't have it with me, I have it at my mothers house. Spike Jonze directed this movie, and he's relatively new, although he directed a very good movie called Being John Malkovich, which is one of my favorites. This is the review.

Spoiler alert. Don't read if you don't want to be spoiled!

Review of "Where The Wild Things Are".

Plot Summary.

This is very hard to nail down. During the first 15 to 30 minutes there is a plot, somewhat. It starts out as Max outside building a fort and having a snowball fight with her sister and her friends. Stuff happens, he gets pissed, breaks her stuff. The same night, he wants to play with his mother, she won't, stuff happens, he gets pissed, runs away. He takes a boat to this island and discovers these "things". I'll get into more discussion on them later. There's a lot to talk about. I can't really describe a plot to what happens after he gets to the island. There's no real climax, and if there are climaxes, it just seems to be a bunch of ups and downs throughout the entire movie. Then he just goes home, sits down with his mom, who smiles and falls asleep, and credits roll.

The Good.

Alright, the good. There really isn't much good, but there is good. I mean, things do happen, but it's not part of the plot, or character development, or scenery, visuals, summary, acting, or any of that. There's some humor, which is somewhat odd. There's some fear, despite it coming out as funny to me. The greatest thing I can emphasize on, is the ridiculous amount of metaphors, and symbolizations, and personifications. There's just way too many. That part of the movie, gets a 10 out of 10. Spike Jonze, the director, really nailed it with those. I'll list a few, I really looked closely at this movie, and I made a lot of connections, and they seem to fly by some people. All of the wild things, are basically people in real life. They are all big, because he's small. I don't know if you can make this connection, but think about it, the goat, is max. He's ignored a lot, and people don't really pay attention, and he's the smallest out of all of them. He gets all excited when any body pays attention to him, and he wants Judeth, the other thing, Ira's wife, to carry him, which symbolizes how he wants attention and wants to be guided and whatnot. Ira, is the husband of his mother, in real life. All of this is starting to get confusing, but it's true, if you put it together. There's still more to go. Carol, is max. Yeah, he has two incarnations of himself. The really quiet and alone side, and the crazy wild side, which is Carol. He acts just as he did within the first 15 to 30 minutes. He got stepped on, he bit his mother's shoulder, he goes crazy and yells a lot, and is very confused at many things. KW, I think can symbolize his sister. His sister disregards him, just like at the snowball fight. I don't really want to put more emphasis on this whole things, because I've written a lot. But there is a character in real life, for every wild thing, even Bob and Terry. Just look it over. That's really all there is for good.

The Bad.

Jesus, this is where I get to let loose. I can't really write this like I would say it, but nothing happened. Nothing happened. Nothing Happened. I can't really say anymore. I mean literally, he goes to the island, everything from there, just has no point. No point at all. It's almost a pointless movie. Nothing happens, and I can explain to everyone why nothing happens, and how nothing happens. First off, there is absolutely no reason for anything going on. Everyone is completely sad almost all the time. They have some fun, but even after they have fun, sadness entails. It's just like a really version of chaos. It's a chaos of nothingness happening. The way I can describe it is like this. He goes to the island, he becomes king, because no one knows what lying is. Apparently Douglas knows the truth the whole time, but says nothing. He starts letting everyone go crazy, and they all jump around everywhere and then he sleeps. After he sleeps, he wakes up, and goes to this cavern, which means nothing. He decides to build something to make Carol happy, which looks nothing like what was in the cavern. So they all start building a fort. After the fort is done, Carol goes apeshit, because Max wanted a place where he could be alone. He rips an arm off, chases Max to kill him. Then he leaves the island, but Carol comes running, to say goodbye to max. They all love each other, after everything thats happened. That's it. Isn't that an amazing plot? I mean seriously. Just the plot itself, and what happens, or rather, what doesn't happen, makes the entire movie go down in flames. You really can't have a more disgruntled plot. It was just all over the place, and nothing happened. Okay, I get it, there was a lot of emotion, but you can't say just because the movie had a lot of emotion, makes it a good movie. That's like if you were to meet a girl or guy, do absolutely nothing, get pissed off at them for no reason, then say that you love them, and you become best friends. It just doesn't work like that. No plot, no coordination, no real sense. The very last scene, where Max is just eating, and his mother just falls asleep, and it goes to credits, I actually said out loud "I swear to god, if this is the ending...", and right after I finished saying that, the credits just rolled. I can't say anything else.

My Overall Thought.

Ugh, this movie really hurts my mind. When I was in the movie theatre, at the end, when the god awful last scene ended, and the credits came up, I heard clapping. It wasn't a little amount of clapping either, it was like, almost everyone in the audience. Mike thought the movie was absolutely brilliant, and I explained to him why it was horrible, and he didn't really have any rebuttable except for the whole emotion thing, and that's what everyone said. I went to see it with maybe 15 people, Allaire and I were the only ones to despise it. I was so confused, I just got up and just started talking to everyone, "Was that a movie? What was that? Did I just watch a movie? Where was it?". I was so angry, and disappointed. I wanted to get my money back, but I couldn't. I can't believe this movie got somewhat decent reviews, it just angers me even more. I think this movie was the worst movie of this year, and that's saying a lot. I've seen a lot of movies, and this is just down at the bottom. What I don't understand is how so many people liked it that much. I'll never understand it. I think I understand the movie more than most people, maybe that's it.

My Rating.

This god awful movie, doesn't deserve anything more than what I'm about to give it. Let me direct the goddamn movie next time. 2 out of 10.
